He founded Saddleback Mission Viejo Concrete in 2018 with one truck and a line pump.

The office is at 27001 La Paz Rd, on the road that runs from the Interstate 5 interchange east across the city to Marguerite Parkway and on toward the lake. It is a unit for paper, forms and a saw, not a showroom, and it is locked by eight most mornings because the crew is already on a pad. The crew lives between here and the coast, and the number on this page rings in the truck.

Most of the week is inside the city or the five towns that touch it. Laguna Hills and Laguna Woods are across the freeway, Lake Forest is north up Marguerite Parkway past Saddleback College, and Rancho Santa Margarita sits over the ridge to the east. Aliso Viejo and Laguna Niguel are the 1980s and 1990s tracts to the south, where the first pool decks are now lifting at the coping. Every one of them is inside 7 miles of the office.

The far edge is a different day. San Clemente and Dana Point are 10 to 12 miles down the 5, Newport Beach and Tustin the same up the freeway, and the list runs north to Yorba Linda and Placentia at about 20 miles. Over the county line, Lake Elsinore and Temescal Valley are reached over the Ortega Highway from San Juan Capistrano, and a job there is booked as a full day.
